La perdita di un figlio è per i genitori una prova terribile, lo so; molti sono venuti da me a cercare consigli e conforto. Ma ribellarsi non cambia nulla, anzi, può solo aggravare la loro sofferenza. Se sono stati dei bravi genitori, amorevoli, attenti, lasceranno su quel figlio delle impronte magnifiche.
La sua anima, che è ripartita, sarà loro riconoscente in eterno, non li dimenticherà mai, e dal mondo invisibile, che è ormai la sua dimora, verrà a consolarli; porterà loro dei doni di tenerezza e di luce, e continuerà a vivere accanto a loro."

"A child's father and mother are like building contractors that have been commissioned to build a house for a soul. They are responsible only for the construction of this house and the materials used to build it – they have no power over the child's soul itself: they don't know where it comes from and it will also leave without them knowing when or where.
The loss of a child is a terrible ordeal for parents, I know, and many have come to me seeking advice and comfort. Rebellion does not change anything and can even increase their suffering. If they were good, loving and attentive parents, they will leave magnificent imprints on their child. Their child's soul, having left, will be eternally grateful and will never forget them. La perte d’un enfant est pour des parents une épreuve terrible, je le sais, beaucoup sont venus chercher auprès de moi des conseils et du réconfort. Mais se révolter ne change rien et ne peut même qu’aggraver leur souffrance. S’ils ont été de bons parents, aimants, attentifs, ils laissent sur cet enfant des empreintes magnifiques. Son âme qui est repartie leur sera éternellement reconnaissante, elle ne les oubliera jamais, et depuis le monde invisible où elle demeure désormais, elle viendra les consoler ; elle leur apportera des cadeaux de tendresse et de lumière, et elle continuera à vivre auprès d’eux."

Ich weiß, dass der Verlust eines Kindes für Eltern eine schreckliche Prüfung darstellt. Viele sind zu mir gekommen, um bei mir Rat und Trost zu suchen. Aber es nützt nichts, dass sie sich auflehnen, dies kann ihr Leiden sogar noch verschlimmern. Wenn sie gute, liebevolle und aufmerksame Eltern waren, so hinterlassen sie bei diesem Kind großartige Spuren. Seine fortgegangene Seele wird ihnen ewig dankbar sein und sie niemals vergessen. Von der jenseitigen Welt aus, wo sie von nun an weilt, wird sie kommen, um sie zu trösten; sie wird ihnen Geschenke der Zärtlichkeit und des Lichts bringen und weiterhin in ihrer Nähe leben."
