"La maggior parte delle religioni ha dato a Dio un'apparenza umana, poiché, per presentare le realtà del mondo spirituale, occorreva renderle accessibili, ed esse vanno ben oltre le capacità ordinarie di comprensione dei credenti! Ciò che è piccolo non può comprendere l'immensità, ciò che è limitato non può comprendere l'illimitato, e ciò che è finito non può comprendere l'infinito. Quando lo capirà l'essere umano? Quando entrerà nell'immensità, quando si fonderà con essa, quando parteciperà della sua vita. 

Finché una goccia d'acqua è separata dall'oceano, sebbene abbia una composizione identica, non può conoscerlo. Ma se ritorna all'oceano, non la si può più separare da lui: la goccia diventa l'oceano e, diventando l'oceano, essa lo conosce. Lo stesso vale per l'essere umano.
Egli è finito, limitato, ma quando avrà lavorato a lungo per purificarsi, risveglierà dentro di sé delle facoltà e delle possibilità quasi senza limiti: si fonderà con l'immensità, e potrà conoscere l'eternità e l'infinito di Dio."

"Most religions have given God a human appearance, because they had to make the realities of the spiritual world accessible, and these realities go well beyond most believers’ abilities to comprehend them! Smallness cannot comprehend immensity, the limited cannot comprehend the limitless, and the finite cannot comprehend the infinite. When will the small, limited and finite ever understand? When it enters the immensity, when it merges with it, when it becomes part of that life.
As long as a drop of water is separate from the ocean, it cannot know the ocean, even though its composition is identical. But if it returns to the ocean, it can no longer be separate from it; it becomes the ocean, and in becoming the ocean it knows the ocean. It is the same for human beings. They are finite and limited, but when they have worked a long time to purify themselves, they will awaken inner faculties and possibilities that are almost limitless – they will merge with the immensity, and they will know the eternal and infinite nature of God."

"La plupart des religions ont donné à Dieu une apparence humaine, car pour présenter les réalités du monde spirituel, il fallait les rendre accessibles, et elles dépassent tellement les capacités ordinaires de compréhension des croyants ! Ce qui est petit ne peut pas comprendre l’immensité, ce qui est limité ne peut pas comprendre l’illimité, ce qui est fini ne peut pas comprendre l’infini. Quand le comprendra-t-il ? Quand il entrera dans l’immensité, quand il se fusionnera avec elle, quand il participera de sa vie. 
Tant qu’une goutte d’eau est séparée de l’océan, bien qu’elle ait une composition identique, elle ne peut pas le connaître. Mais si elle retourne à l’océan, on ne peut plus l’en séparer, elle devient l’océan, et en devenant l’océan, elle le connaît. Il en est de même pour l’être humain. Il est fini, limité, mais lorsqu’il aura travaillé longtemps à se purifier, il éveillera en lui des facultés, des possibilités presque sans limites : il se fondra dans l’immensité et il pourra connaître l’éternité et l’infini de Dieu."

"Die meisten Religionen haben Gott eine menschliche Gestalt verliehen, weil die Wirklichkeiten der spirituellen Welt zugänglich gemacht werden mussten, um sie darstellen zu können, übersteigen sie doch die gewöhnlichen Verständnisfähigkeiten der Gläubigen um ein Vielfaches! Was klein ist, kann die riesige Weite nicht verstehen, was begrenzt ist, ist unfähig, das Unbegrenzte zu erfassen, das Endliche hat keine Möglichkeit, das Unendliche zu begreifen. Und wann kann man es verstehen? Wenn man selbst diese Unendlichkeit betritt, mit ihr eins wird, an ihrem Leben teilnimmt.
Solange ein Wassertropfen vom Ozean getrennt ist, kann er ihn nicht erkennen, obwohl er aus den gleichen Elementen besteht. Aber wenn er in den Ozean zurückkehrt, ist er nicht mehr von ihm zu trennen, er wird selbst zum Ozean, und indem dies geschieht, wird er ihn erkennen. Das Gleiche gilt für den Menschen. Er ist endlich, begrenzt, aber wenn er lange daran gearbeitet hat, sich zu reinigen, werden in ihm fast unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten erwachen. Er geht auf in der unendlichen Weite und wird die Ewigkeit und Unbegrenztheit Gottes erkennen. "

Cuando entre en la inmensidad, cuando se fusione con ella, cuando participe de su vida.
