"Se prendete una mela, la tagliate a pezzi e la mangiate, avrete una certa sensazione... Se addentate direttamente la mela, avrete un'altra sensazione... Ora accostatevi a un melo, tirate verso di voi un ramo e cominciate a mordere una mela prima di coglierla: sentirete quanto essa è viva, e proverete un vero benessere, una vera gioia... È l'albero stesso a comunicarveli, poiché è legato alla terra e dalla terra attinge le forze di cui voi beneficiate.

Si può trasporre questo esempio nel campo dell'amore. Supponete che un uomo – o una donna – abbia reciso i legami con il mondo spirituale. Egli è come un frutto staccato dall'albero: ha già perso una parte delle sue energie e del suo magnetismo; allora, incontrandolo, amandolo, che cosa “gusterete”?...
Certo, troverete qualche briciola da rosicchiare, ma non avrete la sensazione di essere collegati all'immensità dell'amore divino. Invece, se amate un essere che è legato all'Albero della Vita, avrete la sensazione di comunicare con il cuore dell'universo."

"Take an apple, peel it, cut it into pieces and eat it: this gives you a particular sensation. If you bite straight into the apple, you have a different sensation. Now, go into an orchard, pull the branch of an apple tree towards you, and start biting into an apple without picking it: you can feel how alive the fruit is, and you experience a sense of plenitude and joy. It is the tree itself communicating this to you, because it is linked to the earth and to the sky and draws forces from both. 
This example can be transposed to the domain of love. Imagine a man or a woman who has cut themselves off from the spiritual world – they are like an apple detached from a tree: they have already lost part of their energies and of their magnetism. So when you meet them and love them, what will you be able to ‘taste’? You will of course find a few crumbs to eat, but you will not feel that you are linked to the immensity of divine love. But when you love someone who is connected to the Tree of Life, you will feel you are in communion with the heart of the universe."

"Vous prenez une pomme, vous la coupez en morceaux et vous la mangez : vous avez une certaine sensation… Vous mordez directement dans la pomme, vous avez une autre sensation… Maintenant, allez auprès d’un pommier, tirez à vous une branche et commencez à mordre dans une pomme avant de la cueillir : vous sentez combien elle est vivante, et vous éprouvez un vrai bien-être, une vraie joie… C’est l’arbre lui-même qui vous les communique, parce qu’il est lié à la terre et qu’il puise de la terre ces forces dont vous bénéficiez. 
On peut transposer cet exemple dans le domaine de l’amour. Supposez qu’un homme ou une femme ait coupé le lien avec le monde spirituel, il est comme un fruit détaché de l’arbre : il a déjà perdu une partie de ses énergies, de son magnétisme ; alors, en le rencontrant, en l’aimant, qu’allez-vous « goûter » ?… Bien sûr, vous trouverez quelques miettes à grignoter, mais vous n’aurez pas la sensation d’être lié à l’immensité de l’amour divin. Tandis que si vous aimez un être qui est lié à l’arbre de la vie, vous aurez la sensation de communier avec le cœur de l’univers."

"Ihr nehmt einen Apfel, schneidet ihn in Stücke und esst ihn: Ihr habt eine bestimmte Empfindung dabei. Wenn ihr direkt in den Apfel beißt, habt ihr eine andere Empfindung. Geht jetzt zu einem Apfelbaum, zieht einen Ast zu euch her und beißt in einen Apfel, bevor ihr ihn pflückt. Ihr spürt, wie lebendig er ist und ihr empfindet ein echtes Wohlgefühl, eine wahre Freude. Es ist der Baum selbst, der sie euch übermittelt, weil er mit der Erde verbunden ist, und aus der Erde diese Kräfte zieht, von denen ihr profitiert.
Man kann dieses Beispiel in den Bereich der Liebe übertragen. Nehmt einmal an, dass ein Mann oder eine Frau die Verbindung mit dem Himmel abgeschnitten hat. Dieser Mensch ist wie eine Frucht, die vom Baum getrennt ist. Er hat schon einen Teil seiner Energien, seines Magnetismus verloren. Wenn ihr ihn nun trefft, ihn liebt, was werdet ihr »kosten«? Natürlich findet ihr einige Krümel zum Knabbern, aber ihr werdet nicht das Gefühl haben, mit der Unendlichkeit der göttlichen Liebe verbunden zu sein. Wenn ihr dagegen ein Wesen liebt, das mit dem Lebensbaum verbunden ist, werdet ihr das Gefühl haben, mit dem Herzen des Universums zu kommunizieren."
