L'essere umano possiede un grande capitale – la vita – ed è proprietario di quei “mezzi di produzione” che sono i suoi occhi, le orecchie, il cervello, i polmoni, il cuore, le braccia, le gambe... Egli li esercita, li sostenta, li perfeziona e li tiene per sé: è “capitalista”. Ma quando il suo capitale comincia a produrre, egli può organizzare tale produzione in modo da farne beneficiare anche gli altri; vivifica, illumina, riscalda: diventa “comunista”!
Ciò significa dunque che non si può essere comunisti se prima non si sa essere capitalisti per far fruttare il proprio capitale. E nemmeno si può essere un buon capitalista se non si fanno circolare le proprie ricchezze, poiché in tal caso tutto ciò che si possiede ristagna e marcisce. Comunismo e capitalismo vanno insieme: entrambi sono assolutamente necessari per il corretto sviluppo dell'individuo e il buon andamento del mondo."

"Communism and capitalism are not simply two opposing political ideologies. They are two tendencies that have always existed in humans – they are both indispensable because they are complementary. Indeed, you have to be a capitalist to become a better communist. Let me explain.
Human beings own capital, that is to say life, and they are the owners of some major ‘methods of production’ – their limbs and sensory organs. They put them into action, maintain them, perfect them and keep them for themselves. In other words, they are ‘capitalists’. In other words, they become ‘communists’. You cannot be a communist if you cannot first be a capitalist and make your capital yield. And neither can you be a good capitalist if you do not distribute your wealth, because everything you own stagnates and rots. Communism and capitalism go together and they are both absolutely necessary for the fulfilment of each individual and for the world to run smoothly."

Communisme et capitalisme, les deux vont ensemble : ils sont absolument nécessaires pour le bon développement de l’individu et la bonne marche du monde."

"Kommunismus und Kapitalismus sind nicht einfach politische Ideologien, sondern zwei Tendenzen, die seit jeher im Menschen existieren. Sie sind alle beide unerlässlich, weil sie komplementär sind: Man muss Kapitalist sein, um ein besserer Kommunist werden zu können, und zwar folgendermaßen: 
Der Mensch besitzt ein Kapital: das Leben; und er ist im Besitz der »Mittel für die Herstellung«: Das sind seine Gliedmaßen und seine Sinnesorgane. Er trainiert sie, unterhält sie, perfektioniert sie und bewahrt sie für sich: Er ist somit »Kapitalist«. Wenn sein Kapital jedoch zu produzieren beginnt, kann er diese Produktion organisieren, um die anderen davon profitieren zu lassen. Er belebt, er klärt auf, er erwärmt: Er wird »Kommunist«! Das bedeutet also, dass man nicht Kommunist sein kann, wenn man es nicht versteht, zuerst Kapitalist zu sein, damit sein Kapital Früchte trägt. Und man ist auch kein guter Kapitalist, wenn man anschließend seinen Reichtum nicht verteilt, denn von dem Moment an stagniert und verfault alles, was man besitzt. Kommunismus und Kapitalismus gehen beide Hand in Hand: Sie sind absolut notwendig für die gute Entwicklung des Menschen und den guten Lauf der Welt."
